Work Process
All Smak Jewels are created according to a well-established work process that requires great precision and is made special by the exclusive use of hand craft without the use of machinery or automatic devices.
The core element consists in the layered paint, wrapped within the crystal through fusion at very high temperatures. Before the jewellery is exhibited in a shop window it goes through 50 production processes such as cutting, grinding, painting, engraving and fusion.
Some collections feature external decorations made with 24kt gold or platinum. Every colour combination, every model, every range of jewellery gets recorded in the company’s archives, which makes it possible to recreate the same shade effects in subsequent creations.
Finally, every small gem is mounted on its setting of precious or semi-precious metal.
